I am grateful for friends that are able to celebrate and reflect on loved ones lost nearly a year ago.
I am grateful for the opportunity to unplug, reflect, plan, and focus on myself and my future.
Had a wonderful couple of days taking care of some friends’ herd ( a dog and 4 cats) and their house. Splendid place way out in the country with amazing views and few distractions.
I am grateful for the kind of unrestrained exuberance that can only be demonstrated by a labrador retriever.
I am grateful for spontaneous calls from out-of-state friends to meet for celebratory drinks and to catch up!
I am grateful for the food, fellowship, and community of Concerts on the Square.
I am grateful for being able to spend quality time with my family from Iowa.
I am grateful to have the first song blocked out on the LLTAM project Norm and I are working on.
We have been writing lots of bits and pieces over the last year or so with well over a dozen solid songs started. Hydrogen is the first to get to the “blocked out” stage. Blocked out to me means that all of the primary musical parts (choruses, verses, b are arranged. There is a lot left to do on this particular song like adding other instrument lines, lyrics, etc, but the hardest portion has been completed.
I am grateful for motivated training partners that encourage me to do that last monster hill. One. More. Time.
I am grateful to have a thoughtful and patient approach to shopping for a new car and not be in a rush to get a different vehicle.
Over the last few weeks, I had done a ton of research on cars and created a short list of makes / models. Did you know that (according to Consumer Reports) the average new car loses 47% of its value in the first 3 years? I began the test driving phase this afternoon and am thus far enjoying the process.
I am grateful to have my fav mechanic back at my fav local bike shop!
