- Helped out some good friends getting their place ready for a big open house event next week. Very excited for them and the new things they’ll be offering with their businesses!
- Had a blast at small scale relay event with some old and new friends. There were five legs in the event (cyclo-cross, men’s road, mountain bike, women’s road, and trail run). Each team member had to fire three rounds at a target, complete their designated leg, and then chug a boot of beer, before the next leg could start. Each of the five teams had a TV show theme to plan costumes around, though not all participants were in costume. I was LeBeau from Hogan’s Heroes. Being a triathlete among all bikers, I “got to” to do the run. It was only about a mile but it was very rough terrain and a lot of incline. Herman Muster edged me out by a few seconds on the run but I successfully avoided last place for our team by chugging my beer faster. Unbeknownst to Herman & myself, they swapped out the fine Belgian ale with Old Style. Great fun on an amazing Fall afternoon!
- Picked up a good friend from the airport and spent a casual evening over dinner and great conversation.
- I hit 300 posts on my blog.
